PREMED PROGRAM
"MANDATORY COURSES FOR PREMED AND MINIMUM CREDIT HOURS NEEDED
The PreMed Program is designed for students who may not fulfill all or some of the academic
criteria for the MD Program at AUA.
In order to successfully complete the PreMed Program, students are required to complete a
rigorous curriculum spanning three semesters. This comprehensive coursework covers the

PRE-MEDICAL SCIENCE
The Pre-Med program consists of three semesters intended to equip students for admission
into the Medical Program offered at AUA. The Pre-Med offers students the opportunity to
acquire the necessary 94 credit hours of sciences that are mandatory for admission into the
Pre-Clinical Program at AUA.
