Admission Process
The upcoming months will be an exhilarating yet somewhat nerve-wracking time for you as you embark on the journey to achieve your dream of becoming a physician. The School of Medicine is fully equipped with resources and programs to assist applicants, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free process. The Admissions Selection Committee warmly welcomes applicants from all walks of life, irrespective of gender, socioeconomic status, race, age, religion, or educational background.
EVALUATION OF CANDIDATES
Candidates will be evaluated based on their academic performance, the depth and breadth of their involvement in scholarly, extracurricular, and healthcare-related activities during their college years. This includes demonstrating excellence and balance across various disciplines such as natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities. Additionally, academic letters of evaluation and a personal interview will be taken into consideration.
SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION
You will receive communication regarding the status of your submitted application within 7-10 working days from the date of receipt. To determine your eligibility for admission, the following documents must be submitted: a completed Application Form (Download PDF Application Form), a one-page personal essay explaining your motivation to become a physician, a CV/Resume, official transcripts from all educational institutions attended (if official transcripts are unavailable at the time of application, unofficial transcripts will suffice temporarily, but you will need to provide official ones once accepted), two letters of recommendation, two passport- sized color photos (2X2), a copy of your passport, and a $100 application fee. Please note that the application fee must be paid at the time of application submission, and failure to do so will result in your application not being processed. You may provide the supporting documents via email or fax if necessary.
